I don't agree Steve. He [Bloomberg] would have to have to make a lot of things work, but it could be done. Not much of a chance but not no chance. And even if he didn't win, if he is willing to invest in the development of an Independent movement, that would be worth the effort.

There is the possibility that he would win enough electoral votes to designate who did win. On the condition that certain reforms be made. I have no idea if he is interested in that line of action, but he could do a lot worse with his money than to spend it finding out if this political mess still has some ability to change.

I am not particularly interested in just another billionaire doing a vanity run, but if he make a move talk to independents and build something with us, My ears are open.

My guess is that he himself doesn't know at this point if he is going to run. He doesn't have to decide now so why should he. He is just doing what he has to keep his options open and watching to see what happens along with the rest of us.

[Emphasis added. Note that to members of the Newman-Fulani cult the terms "independent movement" and "independents" basically refer to themselves. However, is Mayor Bloomberg still willing to invest in joint ventures with Newman L.P.?--DK]
